“When I heard Aleks' track via Devonne, it instantly struck me as an urban scene. I dug the beat and the layers of ideas. My first goal was to widen the left-right span of the aural soundscape, complete with widely panned sonic details that would draw the ear, then darken the mood by adding sounds that portrayed a night-city vibe. Finally, though the tune was in minor, I wanted to close on a more optimistic note: hence the rising choir. The 15 stereo tracks I added included panning the original material further left and right; adding a phasing, syncopated bass line and a beat-eight roar; high, oscillating tones; pseudo-hi-hat cymbals; wind and oozing pulsations; glitchy tones and subtle scratches; distorted guitar; and my reversed-rapping--all but the latter from my library of Steinberg sounds, mixed on Audacity. Later hearing Dumi Right's addition (w)rapped it all together! Congrats to Aleks!” – Antonio García

He said he was looking to have me break down what the program was all about in the form of a rap. I loved the vibe and variations in the track and it made the perfect soundscape to be able to do that..
